Visitors of Canada need to ask for an entry visa (single or multiple entry, of variable validity) which could allow them to stay in Canada for up to 6 months (in the case of a super visa – up to 5 years).
Citizens of some countries do not need an entry visa, they instead receive an electronic authorization-AVE (simplified version of the entry document).
